Charles base is the Creative Director behind Lodge Brava: streetwear and community that stitches together his stories in sao paulo and London.

“I started Lodge Brava last year, I’d never thought of starting my own brand” said Charles over a call a few days after we captured his shoot in Hoxton.

The drop is called Recreate the Future: “it’s about my personal evolution because I changed my life too”, said Charles.

“I’ve known Kildrey for 15 years growing up in Sao Paulo, now both of us are living in London. He’s my business partner and created the brand with me, he’s fundamental to its success.

He believed in me, he told me “spend less time doing what you don’t like, and more time doing what you love and believe in”.

What makes Lodge Brava unique? “It’s one community connecting Brazil and the UK”, Charles smiled.

“It’s not just fashion. Growing up with Sao Paulo and London street culture, I’ve seen a lot of the same struggles and resistance through art”.

At Lodge Brava we take the best of both worlds, creating opportunities in real life and teling our stories through fashion.

“My biggest influences are my friends, my history. Creatively I love Febem and Kyan from Sao Paulo, Skepta from London. Isabel Ryan she works with Nike, Lacoste”.
